THE PLATFORM
What is Kubrio?
The first platform where teens (13-18) systematically explore AI creation across 5 mediums—movies, music, code, 3D, images—discover what they love making, and build a public portfolio at kubrio.dev/art/their-name.
How does the progression work?
Three stages: Sandbox (try everything across 5 creation types), Portfolio (curate your best work and reflect on what you made), Director (get recognized through Staff Picks and unlock advanced features). Each stage teaches something different about who they are as a creator.
What are Staff Picks?
Every week, our team selects the best work from teens exploring the platform. Getting a Staff Pick unlocks Director status—it's external validation that quality matters. Only about 20% of teens reach Director, which keeps the standard high.
What is Director level?
Director is Stage 3, unlocked by earning at least one Staff Pick. Directors get advanced creation tools and can make their work available to other teens through Kubits (our internal currency). This teaches them how value creation actually works.
What are Kubits?
Our internal platform currency. Directors can set prices for their work (in Kubits), and other teens can purchase access. It's not about making real money—it's about understanding how value gets exchanged. A sandbox for learning economics through creation.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Which AI tools are included?
15+ cutting-edge AI models (and growing). We add the latest tools as they launch—at no extra cost to you. Right now that includes Sora 2 and Veo 3 for video, Claude 3.5 and Gemini 2.0 for code, Flux and Imagen 4 for images, plus professional music and 3D tools. Your teen can try them all, compare results side-by-side, and discover which tools match their creative style. One subscription. All the tools.
What about Code AI?
Visual AI (movies, music, 3D, images) is live now. Code AI launches soon, where teens build actual apps and tools with AI-assisted coding. Both tracks included in your subscription at the same price.
What's the portfolio?
Every teen gets their own public portfolio at kubrio.dev/art/their-name. It automatically tracks which tools they've used and shows their achievements. They manually add their best projects with the story behind each one—what they made, how, and what they learned.
Do they need any experience?
None. If they can use YouTube or Google Docs, they can use this. We provide templates, prompts, and step-by-step guides. Everything is designed for learning by doing.
What's the time commitment?
Whatever they want. No classes, no homework, no deadlines. Self-paced exploration. Some teens spend 30 minutes trying something new. Others spend hours once they find what they love.
CREDITS & PRICING
What are credits?
Credits are what teens use to create. Each time they generate something (a song, video, image, etc.), it costs credits. The amount depends on which AI model and quality level they choose. The platform shows the cost before they create—no surprises.
How many credits do I get?
3,000 credits included with early access ($190/year). That's approximately 30+ songs, 800+ images, 40+ videos, or any mix across all 5 mediums. Most teens explore for months without running out.
Do credits expire?
Yes, one year from purchase. This gives your teen a full year to explore and discover what they want to build.
Can I buy extra credits?
Yes, $10 per 100 credits if needed. For reference: ~1 song, 27+ images, or 1-2 videos. Most families don't need to top up in their first year.
What if they don't use all their credits?
That's fine. It means they got what they needed from exploring. The platform is self-paced—some create a lot, others try a few things and discover their interests. Either way, they're learning.
Can I buy this for multiple teens?
Yes. Each teen needs their own subscription ($190/year) with their own credits and portfolio. This keeps their work separate and gives each the full exploration experience.
SAFETY & ACCESS
Is this safe for teenagers?
Yes. Parent-managed accounts. Ages 13-18 only, verified. No ads, no data selling, no unmoderated communication. You control access. Privacy and safety are built in, not add-ons.
Who can see their work?
Their portfolio at kubrio.dev/art/their-name is public (like a personal website). Everything else—their sandbox experiments, community posts—is only visible within the Kubrio platform to other verified teens 13-18.
What about Discord?
We have a private Discord community for teens 13-18 only. I (Vlad, the founder) am in there helping every teen. It's actively moderated, no DMs between users, parent-managed access.
Do they own their creations?
Yes. Full commercial rights to everything they create. It's their work.
TECHNICAL
What equipment do we need?
Just a laptop or desktop with internet access. Everything is web-based—no downloads, no installation. If they can open a browser, they're ready.
When does the platform launch?
Visual AI is live now. Code AI launches in the coming weeks. Early access members get immediate Discord access and start using Visual AI tools right away.
What if they try it and don't like it?
14-day refund policy, as long as no credits have been spent on the platform. Discord access and exploration don't count against this—we want you to try before fully committing.
COMPARISON
How is this different from ChatGPT or Midjourney?
Three ways: First, everything's in one place (no app-hopping). Second, one subscription instead of five separate bills ($55+/month vs. $190/year here). Third, it's built for discovery—they try everything and find their thing, rather than committing to one tool before knowing what they like.
Why not just use free AI tools?
You can. But Kubrio provides structure (3-stage progression), validation (Staff Picks), community (teens building together), and outcome (public portfolio). It's the difference between having tools and having a path to discovery.
Is this like a coding bootcamp or course?
No. There are no classes, lectures, or curriculum. It's a creation platform with progression. They learn by making things, getting feedback, and seeing what resonates. Think playground, not classroom.
