Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from parents considering our program for their teens.
What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are what your teen uses to create. Each time they generate a song, image, video, or app, it uses credits—the amount depends on which AI model they choose. Think of it like video quality settings: higher quality uses more, basic uses less. The platform shows the cost before they create, so there are no surprises.
How many credits do I get?
Early access includes 3000 credits (normally $300 worth). That's enough to create approximately 30+ songs, 800+ images, 40+ videos, 6+ apps, and 600+ stories—or any combination across all five mediums. Credit costs vary by AI model quality (like video resolution settings). Most teens explore for months without running out.
Do credits expire?
Yes, credits expire one year from your purchase date. This gives your teen a full year to explore everything and discover what they want to build. If they're actively creating and run out, you can purchase additional credits anytime.
How much are extra credits if they need more?
Extra credits are $10 per 100 credits. For reference, that's approximately 1 song, 27+ images, 1-2 videos, 20+ stories, or contributing to building an app. Most families don't need to top up during their first year of exploring.
What if they don't use all their credits?
If your teen doesn't use all 3000 credits in their first year, that's okay—it means they got what they needed from exploring. The platform is self-paced with no pressure. Some teens create a lot, others try a few things and discover what interests them. Either way, they're learning what's possible with AI.
Can I buy this for multiple teens?
Yes. Each teen needs their own subscription ($190/year per teen) with their own credits and portfolio. This keeps their work separate and gives each teen the full exploration experience.
What exactly is the AI Sandbox?
It's the first platform where teens can try every major type of AI creation—music, images, video, code, and stories—all in one place. Instead of juggling five different apps and subscriptions, they explore everything here and discover what they actually want to build.
Which AI tools are included?
All the major ones: ElevenLabs for music, Flux and Stable Diffusion for images, Veo and Kling for video, Claude, DeepSeek, and ChatGPT for coding and writing. We're starting with 10+ top AI models and adding more as they launch. Your credits work with all of them.
Will my teen know how to use these tools?
Yes. We provide prompt templates, step-by-step guides, and examples for each tool. Plus async Discord support when they get stuck. Everything is designed for learning by doing, not lectures.
Is this safe for my teenager?
Yes. Accounts are parent-managed. No ads, no social media features, no unmoderated communication. Just the creative tools. You control access, and only verified teens (ages 13-18) are allowed in. Privacy and safety aren't add-ons—they're built in.
Does my teen need coding experience or tech skills?
Not at all. If they can use Canva, Google Docs, or YouTube, they can use this. Everything is designed for exploration, not expertise. Even the coding tools work through conversation—no syntax, no confusing errors.
What's the time commitment?
Whatever they want. There are no live classes, no homework, no deadlines. Some teens spend 30 minutes trying something new. Others spend hours once they find what they love. It's self-paced and completely up to them.
Can they build an actual portfolio with this?
Yes. Everything they create is saved to their personal portfolio—songs, videos, apps, art, stories. These are real projects they can share in college applications, competitions, or just with friends. Not homework. Actual work they're proud of.
When does the platform launch?
The full platform launches in 2-4 weeks. But when you join early access, your teen gets immediate access to our Discord community and weekly creative challenges using free AI tools. When the platform launches, their credits activate and they get full access.
What if my teen tries it and doesn't like it?
You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as no credits have been used on the platform. Community access and weekly challenges don't count against this—we want you to explore before committing. Once credits are spent creating on the platform, the subscription becomes non-refundable.
What equipment do we need?
Just a laptop or desktop with internet access. Everything is web-based—no downloads, no installation, no special software. If they can open a browser, they're ready to start.
How is this different from just signing up for Suno or Midjourney separately?
Three ways: First, everything's in one place with one login—no app-hopping. Second, one subscription instead of five separate bills (which would cost $55+/month vs. under $16/month here). Third, it's built for discovery—they try everything and find their thing, rather than committing to one tool before they know what they like.
